Adrian's Invitation to Hollywood

A Friday May 24, 2007 front page Washington Post article said, basically; you
better check your old email. There was the invitation to Hollywood for the
Premiere of Punk's Not Dead. Five years in the making, PND is an awesome
documentary about the evolution of Punk Rock. A couple years ago
I contributed some video of Joey Ramone Day so I was invited to the Premiere.
When I found an Alaska Airlines direct flight from Ronald Reagan National
Airport and a hotel right on Hollywood Boulevard close to the Henry Fonda,
I knew I had to go.

I saw my name on the big screen in Hollywood for the first time and now it will
be seen all over the world, and at a theater near you.

When deplaning, the crew lined up to say thank you, but before they could
I announced loudly; "The next time I get an invitation to Hollywood to see my
name on the big screen I am taking this airline!" To my surprise I received a
round of applause. It felt great.

If you ever get an invitation to Hollywood - go. Check your old email and take
Alaska Airlines from Ronald Reagan National Airport. You will never forget it!
